Welcome! Since opening our doors in Westerly, RI in 2005, First Physical Therapy, LLC has existed to devote its expertise, care, and compassion to the patients of the greater Westerly-Pawcatuck area and surrounding communities. In 2016, we opened a second clinic in Mystic, CT! We aim to provide the highest quality of care by providing a thorough evaluation of your injury or condition, and developing a personalized plan of care that is maintained through consistent follow-up visits and reassessments. We believe that developing a professional relationship with both the patient and the physician are key to the healing process. With an emphasis on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and appropriate modalities, our team of clinicians has successfully restored the mobility and function of our patients.

As an independently owned practice, our business generates its referrals through the rapport we have established with physicians, and the testimonies of our patients. This is not difficult to establish as our clinicians are highly qualified and intent on furthering their education to stay abreast of current research and new techniques that will benefit their patients and our practice.

Owner, and Physical Therapist, Jan Chamberlain has treated thousands of patients. When asked, most of them have the same goal, to get their life back.
