Backus to Host Free Talk on Lupus May 17

Norwich, CT – The Backus Arthritis Center and Rheumatology Department will host “Understanding Lupus,” an educational seminar, on Tuesday, May 17, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Backus Outpatient Care Center conference room at 111 Salem Turnpike in Norwich. The program will be presented by Sandeep Varma, MD, Medical Director of the arthritis center.
 
Dr. Varma will educate participants about the signs and symptoms of lupus and how this medical condition can be treated.
