Norwich, CT – The Builders and Remodelers Association of Eastern Connecticut raised $1,744 on behalf of The Arc New London County at its November 25th “Denim and Diamonds” annual gala and fundraiser. Named BAEC’s charity of the year, The Arc NLC provides day and residential services to over 620 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families in Southeastern Connecticut. The Association’s generous donation will support critical programs including The Arc’s Employment Transition Center, which creates opportunities for earning competitive wages and learning skills transferrable into various career fields such as horticulture, culinary arts, custodial services, retail and more.
