Chamber Announces Amanda Ljubicic as Vice President

Eastern CT – The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Ljubicic as the new Vice President of the organization.
 
Ljubicic joins the Chamber with significant experience and achievements in corporate project management and regional partnership development.
 
In her most recent role as Vice President of Strategy and Implementation at Mitchell College, Amanda developed the Integrative Career Development program, which aligns local businesses and organizational needs with college-wide initiatives and student career.
 
"I am so excited to join the talented, dedicated team at the Chamber," said Ljubicic. "I grew up in the area and I am raising my family here. I have worked locally for the past decade, intersecting with many area businesses, and I have personal experience with the pressures of owning a small, family-run business. The economic vitality of our region is of utmost personal and professional importance to me."

Ljubicic holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Connecticut. She began her career in marketing and project management at MBI, Inc., followed by a similar role at Affinion Group in Norwalk, Connecticut. A Master of Science in Community Counseling led her to Mitchell College as Assistant Director of Career Services. She soon became Director of the Career Center and, a few years later, was promoted to the senior administrative team. She is a 2017 graduate of the Chamber’s Leadership Program.
 
Ljubicic is familiar with Chamber members through her experience in the Leadership Program and her initiatives at Mitchell College. She looks forward to building new relationships with Chamber members and learning how she can best benefit the regional businesses in this role. She will join the Chamber staff in her new role on Monday, February 26th.
