Chamber Coordinates Regional Promotion at International Travel Expo

Eastern CT –The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT will represent the eastern CT region at the upcoming Discover New England Summit at Foxwoods Resort Casino from May 13-15, 2019. The Chamber is providing promotional opportunities for the region’s business community during the event.

The Discover New England Annual Tourism Summit and International Marketplace is the only New England travel trade event where hospitality businesses from throughout New England can meet directly with international tour operators who arrange trips for tens of thousands of international visitors annually. Over 5,000 meetings between international tour operators and New England businesses were facilitated during the 2018 Summit.

The Chamber invites the region’s entire business community to get their business in front of this valuable audience by purchasing a listing in the Think Mystic Country guidebook and/or displaying their rack cards during the Summit. The price to participate begins at $50 and covers both options. Businesses may upgrade to a quarter-page graphic ad for $200.

“We are proud to showcase eastern CT’s wonderful businesses and attractions to an international audience,” said Tony Sheridan, President & CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT. “For a very reasonable price, any local business can reach thousands of potential travelers. This is a great opportunity for affordable, effective promotion.”
