Chamber to Host 'State of the Submarine Base' Luncheon with Captain Whitescarver April 17

Eastern CTThe Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT is pleased to announce it will host an inaugural "State of the Submarine Base" luncheon featuring Captain Paul Whitescarver on Wednesday, April 17, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa (625 North Road/CT Route 117, Groton). Eastern CT's business community, as well as residents who work for or with the region's military installations, are encouraged to attend this luncheon. As Captain Whitescarver's tenure as 51st Commander of Naval Submarine Base New London concludes in May 2019, he will highlight the current state and impact of the base as it continues to provide a Base Operations Support (BOS) infrastructure to the operating forces of the U.S. Navy and other naval organizations and tenants. Captain Whitescarver will also discuss the role of today's submarine force.

The presentation will be followed by an open audience question and answer session.

Admission for the event is $20 for Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT members and $25 for non-members for reservations made prior to or on April 14. After April 14, prices increase to $25 for Chamber members and $30 for non-members. All admission includes lunch provided by Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa.
