Meg Polubiatko Has 25 Years of Local Banking and Lending Experience

Waterford, CT – Charter Oak Federal Credit Union has named Meg Polubiatko, a local banker with extensive mortgage-lending experience, as its new Mortgage Officer.

"Meg's a well-known mortgage originator, and her many years of experience combined with her knowledge of the local mortgage market are a win-win for Charter Oak," said Brian A. Charter Oak now has four experienced Mortgage Officers serving the eastern Connecticut housing market. The Waterford-based credit union has been eastern Connecticut's Number 1 mortgage lender for five consecutive years.* Specifically in 2014, Charter Oak not only originated the largest number of mortgages in New London County but also the largest dollar amount of mortgages as well. Charter Oak has originated more than 5,200 mortgages from 2010 through 2014 with a total value in excess of $656 million.

Polubiatko, a Norwich native, is a longtime resident of Mystic. She has 25 years of banking industry experience and has focused on the lending area for the past 15 years. Polubiatko has served as a board member for the New London-based Alliance for Living for the past seven years, and she is a graduate of the Connecticut Bankers Association's Connecticut School of Finance & Management.
