“Through our internship program, we’re focused on attracting and developing our future generation of financial service stewards and providing professional development experiences,” shared Anne Wilkinson, SVP, Director of Human Resources at Chelsea Groton Bank. “We recruit interns from a diverse pool of candidates who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program. We try to provide them with knowledge and skills that will serve them in a future career either at Chelsea Groton Bank, or elsewhere in the industry.”
Chelsea Groton’s program provides the intern with experiential learning, mentoring and networking opportunities. All interns are paid and may be eligible for academic credit based on the college’s eligibility requirements. Upon successful completion of the internship and graduation from their applicable college, there is the potential of offering permanent employment to the trained and qualified intern.
In order to be eligible for the internship program, candidates must be a student in good standing with their college, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have a sincere interest in learning more about the banking industry and providing outstanding customer service.
