Chelsea Groton Bank Expands Branch Hours and Further Enhances Services

Groton, CT – Chelsea Groton Bank is expanding branch hours and adding several convenient services for customers, whether they prefer to bank in-person, online or with a mobile device.

“Bank branches are not going away,” said Lori Dufficy, SVP, director of Sales & Service. “While many of our customers use self-service channels like online banking, they still want to sit down and speak with a trusted financial professional when seeking advice, conducting more complex transactions, or when in need of the personalized service they’ve come to expect. We continue to make enhancements to our in-person, online and mobile banking experience in an effort to better provide customers with options for conducting their financial transactions when and how they want.”

New Branch Hours
Effective May 1, most branches will be opening drive-up windows and lobbies 30 minutes earlier, which will allow customers to access the Bank’s in-person services prior to the start of their day. Service Enhancements
Chelsea Groton recently rolled out a series of online and mobile banking features and functions. Online and mobile enhancements for individuals and businesses that are continually evolving include: real-time access to accounts, transfers, bill pay, alerts, live chat, a secure message center, and specific cash management services for business customers who are looking to streamline cash flow systems and control user access around the clock.  Mobile banking enhancements will include a “fast balances” capability and a mobile check deposit offering for individuals and businesses. 

Automated telephone banking will remain available 24/7 for customers who prefer to bank by phone. Chelsea Groton Customer Care Center representatives will continue to be accessible at 860-448-4200, Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
