Chelsea Groton Bank Kicks Off Fall with Free Financial Seminars

Groton, CT – Chelsea Groton Bank is producing and sponsoring a number of financial literacy seminars this fall to educate members of the community on improving credit scores, home-buying, budgeting, preventing identity theft, and more. Classes are free and open to the public.

Budgeting Basics
Learn how to create a budget, reduce debt and build your savings.

Preventing & Resolving Identity Theft
Understand how to recognize if you’re a victim of identity theft and how to protect yourself. This session will be focused on preventing elder abuse.

Bring up to three file size boxes of confidential, personal and business documents for complimentary shredding, to help prevent identity theft. Identity theft materials will be available.
