Chelsea Groton Bank Promotes Max Spelman to Deposit Operations Manager

Groton, CT – Max Spelman has been promoted to the Deposit Operations Manager at Chelsea Groton Bank. He has worked for the Bank in the Deposit Services Department as a Risk Management and Compliance Specialist for over a year. Max will now oversee tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Deposit Services Department.
 
“Max has proven himself over the last year as our Risk and Compliance Specialist. He demonstrates leadership and understands our mission at Chelsea Groton,” said Bill Lidestri, SVP, Director of Operations and Technology. “I know he will carry these qualities into his new position and will be instrumental in leading various efforts as we continue to grow as an organization.”
 
Prior to his role as Risk Management and Compliance Specialist, Max worked as a BSA/AML Compliance Specialist with The Washington Trust Company and as a Customer Service Manager for People’s United Bank.
 
Max holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of New Haven and a bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of Rhode Island. He and his wife reside in Pawcatuck, CT.
