Chelsea Groton Bank to Host Spring Shred-It Days

Chelsea Groton Bank Invites the Community
to Participate in Spring Shred-It Days

Groton, CT – To commemorate Money Smart Week (April 18 – 25), Chelsea Groton Bank is hosting Shred-It Days on April 18, April 25 and May 2. Shred-It Days provide the local community with an opportunity to bring confidential, personal and business documents to a location for shredding, to ensure safe and secure disposal of the material. Participants are invited to bring up to three file size boxes of documents. The service is free to the public.

“We are constantly reminding customers and employees of the importance of protecting your personal and financial security,” said Pam Days-Luketich, Community Education Officer at Chelsea Groton Bank. “So often, people throw away mail or business documents without thinking twice about the information they are making available to criminals. Shred-It Days are one of the ways we help the community guard themselves.”

Here are the details of the Shred-It Days that will be hosted by Chelsea Groton Bank this spring:
• Saturday, April 18, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Groton Public Library, Groton
• Saturday, April 25, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., The Public Library of New London, New London
