The United States Coast Guard Academy, Division of Athletics, prepares to host its 7th Annual Women’s LeadHERship Symposium on January 30, 2018.

This day-long interactive event for women working in collegiate athletics will be held in CGA’s Otto Graham Hall of Athletic Excellence, New London, CT.  The symposium features a keynote address by Pam Borton; ICF Senior Executive Coach, Leadership & Teams Expert, and Author.  It also includes a guided group discussion led by Louise McCleary, Director of DIII for the NCAA.

Panel discussions will be led by Shelly Morris, Associate Head Field Hockey Coach at Northeastern University; Mary Ellen Gillespie, Director of Athletics at the University of Hartford; Sue Lauder, Director of Athletics at Fitchburg State; and Jess Duff, Special Assistant to the Athletic Director at MIT.

Women’s LeadHERship serves as a great networking opportunity and provides a valuable chance to hear from female coaches and administrators active in our profession today.  This event is proudly sponsored by the CGA’s Athletic Activity Fund and First Command Financial Services.”
