Coast Guard Swim Team Cracks Regional Rankings

​New London, CT – The Coast Guard women's swimming and diving team, which is having its best season in school history, has earned a regional ranking from The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as the Bears checked in at 9th in the Northeast Region.

The Bears are 8-3 in dual meets this season, the most wins in program history, and the first winning dual meet record since 2009-'10 when the team was 6-5 and just the third winning season in program's 20-year history.

Coast Guard closes out the dual meet portion of the schedule on Friday night at Wesleyan while also competing with Fairfield and Connecticut College at 6:30.

The NEWMAC Championships will be held Feb. 21-24 at MIT. The Bears placed fifth last season.
