Coastal CT Magazine is Apex Sponsor of Branford Festival 2015

Coastal Connecticut Magazine will be the Apex sponsor of this year’s Branford Festival, taking place June 19-21 on Branford Green and throughout the town. This sponsorship is the latest in a growing list of community, charity and cultural events supported by the publication.

Celebrating 31 years, the Branford Festival has grown into one of the most anticipated summer events on the shoreline. What began as a humble Father’s Day celebration is now a thriving annual extravaganza of crafts, activities, food, live music and family entertainment to kick off the summer.

Organizers call the festival “Branford’s best moment,” as the weekend-long revel has also become a homecoming. Many former Branford residents now travel back to hold reunions during the festivities.

“The spirit of the Branford Festival reflects our own feelings about life on the shoreline,” said Coastal Connecticut Magazine publisher, Jordan Rizza. “This event celebrates everything people love about living and working here. We will continue to underwrite events that bring good people together to have fun.”

This year’s Branford Festival features such great activities as The Baking Contents, The Father’s Day Road Race, Father of the Year, Branford’s Got Talent, The Car Show, and of course, Fabulous Foods. There will also be carnival style rides and kid’s games, all in the delightful setting of Branford Green.
