The Town of Stonington will be holding Community Conversation on Coastal Resilience Solutions for Downtown Mystic on Wednesday January 23, 6:00PM at the Mystic Fire Station, 34 Broadway Ave.  We are excited to be working with students from the Conway School’s Graduate Program in Sustainable Landscape Planning and Design who will be planning shoreline and inland resilience measures for the area.  Students are seeking input from the community as they kick off this project; a follow up public meeting will be held later this winter / spring.  The Conway School has an excellent history of planning for New England communities as seen here.

This project is seen as an extension of the Stonington Coastal Resilience Plan completed in 2017.  Funding has been provided by the Nature Conservancy.

We hope to see you there.
