Dime Foundation Awards $2,250 to Children’s Museum of West Hartford

Dime Bank Foundation recently awarded $2,250 to the Children’s Museum of West Hartford to help support seven STEM educational programs for K-8 homeschooling families living in the New London and Groton areas. Each program will feature hands-on science and environment-based activities, as well as provide access to unique assets and learning opportunities that cannot be found elsewhere in the region.

Opened in 1927, The Children’s Museum is the fifth oldest children’s museum in the country.  Their mission is to provoke life-long experiential learning and innovation among children, adults, and their communities.
