ECSO COVID-19 Update - 2019-2020 Season

As a result of the current health crisis, the ECSO must regrettably cancel the remainder of the 2019-20 season, including our rescheduled Spring Strings concert that was to take place on May 23rd (originally March 25th), our April 25th season finale – Feast & Fireworks, and the Young People’s Concerts that were rescheduled to May 19th.

We know these are difficult times for many and the current situation also poses financial challenges for the ECSO. Ticketholders who are in a position to help may do so in several ways, including:

  • Donate the value of your unused ticket(s) back to the ECSO as a generous tax-deductible contribution. We will send you an acknowledgment letter for your taxes that declare the value of your gift.
  • Turn in your unused ticket(s) and ask that they be used to provide tickets next season (2020-21) for frontline medical workers, first responders, and essential workers.
  • Exchange your ticket(s) for vouchers that can be used next season to bring along friends, family, or other acquaintances to our concerts.
  • Request a refund for your unused ticket(s).

Please call our office at 860-443-2876 to make any arrangements or email your inquiry or request to info@ectsymphony.com

Gala update:

Our rescheduled Gala, the ECSO’s primary fundraiser hosted by the Friends, will now be transformed into an online event, hosted at www.ecso.givesmart.com. All items will be available for bidding beginning on Friday, May 29, with some special items released for bidding in the weeks prior. The silent auction will conclude on Saturday, June 6. Anyone with access to a computer will be able to participate in the silent auction.

In the event of any additional future cancellations or postponements, we will notify ticketholders and the general public through email, Facebook, Twitter, and our website and broadcast outlets.
