Fall Career Training Courses Available Now at Three Rivers Community College

There is still time to enroll in a variety of non-credit training courses at Three Rivers Community College. If you are interested in expanding your skills or changing career paths, take a class this fall. Registration is still open on the 13 courses below. Allied Health courses in some of the fastest growing careers in Connecticut:

  • Medical Terminology and Anatomy for Coders - Tuesdays and Thursdays, August 27 – December 10. Registration deadline is August 20.
  • EKG Technician Certification with American Heart Association Basic Life Support – Mondays and Wednesdays, September 4 – November 20. Registration deadline is August 28.
  • Medical Coding Exam Preparation - Thursdays, September 5 – December 19. Registration deadline is August 29.
  • Certified Nurse Aide Program (CNA), Evening Classes, Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 5 – December 10. Registration deadline is August 29.
  • Certified Nurse Aide Program (CNA), Daytime Classes, Tuesdays and Fridays, September 10 – December 6. Registration deadline is September 3.
  • Phlebotomy Technician Program – Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, September 9 - November 22. Registration deadline is September 3. 
  • Pharmacy Technician Program – Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 10 – December 17. Registration deadline is September 3.
  • Dental Assisting I – Mondays and Thursdays, September 12 – December 19. Registration deadline is September 5.
  • Understanding Health Insurance – Mondays, September 30-December 30. Registration deadline is September 23. 
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support – One-day course held on Wednesday, November 20. Registration deadline is November 13. 
 
Professional Development courses:
  • Drone Pilot Certificate Program – Mondays and Fridays, August 26 – September 27. Deadline to register is August 19.
  • Real Estate Principles and Practices – Mondays and Wednesdays, September 30 – December 11. Registration deadline is September 23.
  • Security Officer Training: Guard Card Certification –Wednesdays, November 6 - 27.  Registration deadline is October 30.
