Frontier to Host Job Fair at East Region Headquarters in New Haven

Frontier Communications today announced it will be hosting a job fair at its East Region Headquarters (CT, NY, PA, WV, OH). The event will be held on Wednesday, August 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 310 Orange Street in New Haven.

In response to the recent announcement that Cablevision is laying off more than 600 Connecticut employees, Frontier recruiters will be available to meet with potential candidates interested in applying for one of the many open positions in Connecticut, including sales and service technicians, and call center supervisors and sales consultants. As a leading provider of TV, High Speed Internet and Voice services and a major economic driver in the state, Frontier employs more than 3,000 people in Connecticut and approximately 30,000 employees throughout the other 28 states the telecommunication company serves.

“Frontier Communications is always looking for talented people to join our dynamic workforce,” said Paul Quick, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Connecticut. “Frontier has added 300 jobs since we came to Connecticut in 2014 and we have expanded and grown our business by making significant investments in our product and our people.”

“Both Frontier’s Corporate Headquarters and East Region Headquarters are located in Connecticut. That means decisions about Connecticut are made by people who work and live right here in the state,” says Ken Arnd, East Region President for Frontier. “It’s important to note that during this economically precarious time in Connecticut with companies leaving and laying off employees, Frontier is growing our workforce and investing in our networks by upgrading our already superior customer experience here in Connecticut every day. We encourage people who may have recently lost a job to attend the job fair and connect with us in-person.”

Interested candidates should bring a current resume and be prepared to speak with recruiting professionals at the event.

Additionally, Frontier Communications is proud to have 13 percent of their national workforce consist of veterans, reservists and their family members. Frontier is currently a member of The Military Spouse Employment Partnership, The Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces, Joining Forces and the Veterans Jobs Mission, a nationwide effort to hire 1,000,000 transitioning service members.
