Jim Elliott Joins Chelsea Groton Financial Services as Vice President

Groton, CT – Jim Elliott recently joined Chelsea Groton Financial Services as Vice President and as a Financial Advisor representative of Infinex Investments, Inc. member FINRA/SIPC. In this position, Jim will work with clients to understand their current financial situations and determine strategies to help them meet their financial objectives.

“Jim brings to us 24 years of experience in the financial industry,” said John Uyeki, Senior Vice President, Producing Manager at Chelsea Groton Financial Services. “He believes in understanding clients' objectives and risk-tolerance, and then working closely with them to help them meet their goals. We are excited to welcome Jim to the Chelsea Groton team.”

Elliott earned his master’s in business from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He began his career with American Express in Maine and then moved to Fleet Bank. While at Fleet, Jim transferred to South County in Rhode Island where he worked for 18 years. Jim has also been with the Westerly Credit Union, Citizens Bank, and most recently BARI Investments, a division of Bank RI, where he covered their Cranston and South County branches.

Prior to entering the financial world in 1992, Jim worked as a forester. He lives in West Kingston, R.I. with his wife, Karen, and daughter, Jess. Jim also holds a pilot’s license and enjoys outdoor activities.
