Knights' Tootsie Roll Drive Gifts The Arc New London County $840

Council donates to The Arc New London County
 
Knights of Columbus Council #12705 in Norwich has gifted The Arc New London County with $840 raised during this year’s Tootsie Roll Drive. The popular fundraiser is part of the Knights of Columbus’ Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities.

The dollars raised benefit The Arc’s Community Life and Advocacy Program, funded solely through donations, community fundraising events and The United Way. Community Life and Advocacy offers people with I/DD in New London County opportunities to give back to the community through volunteer service; it also provides support groups for survivors of sex abuse and a self-presentation skills program to enhance career and life success. Special Olympics are offered as well.
