Ledyard Garden Club Helps The Arc New London County's Farm Stand

Norwich, CT – The Ledyard Garden Club made a generous contribution to the Arc New London County’s Farm Stand this season, providing $200 for vegetable seedlings and tools.

Located at 1671 Center Groton Rd (117) in Ledyard, the Arc’s Farm Stand employs people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who receive training in all aspects of vegetable farming, including maintenance, harvesting, and retail sales. 

The Stand is open to the public and will start its 2017 season soon; the Garden Club’s gift couldn’t have come at a better time.
