Lyme Art Association Presents the 95th Annual Elected Artist Exhibition and Body Language

The Lyme Art Association presents the annual showcase of the best new works of art by Elected Artists Members. These artists are professionals of note and significance whose works are known, collected, and exhibited throughout the country, as well as along the Shoreline.  Body Language, displaying artwork based on the human figure in all its forms, runs concurrent with the Elected Artist Show, on view April 22 to June 3, 2016.  Also on view in The Art Market is an unjuried show featuring an entirely new collection of affordable smaller works.  All artwork on display is for sale.

Come and meet the artists, enjoy the music and celebrate fine art at the Opening Reception on Friday, April 29th, from 5-7 PM.

About the Lyme Art Association
The Lyme Art Association was founded in 1914 by the American Impressionists and continues the tradition of exhibiting and selling representational artwork by its members and invited artists, as well as offering art instruction and lectures to the community. The Lyme Art Association is located at 90 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT, in a building designed by Charles Adams Platt and located within an historic district. Admission is free with contributions appreciated. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 10am to 5pm, or by appointment.
