Margo Weitekamp Presented With Connecticut’s Leadership Award By SCORE

Old Saybrook, CT – Margo Weitekamp, Chair of Southeastern CT SCORE, was presented the 2017 Connecticut Leadership Award at this year’s annual SBA Small Business Week ceremony held in New Haven, CT. The SCORE Leadership Award is presented each year to an outstanding individual whose team building and leadership skills develop exceptional performance as evaluated by SCORE’s volunteers and their clients.  Brian Baxendale, Assistant Regional Director for SCORE in Connecticut handled the presentation on behalf of SCORE and the SBA.
 
Mark Cutler, Regional Director and Vice President for SCORE New England and New York, noted: “Under Margo’s leadership as chair, the Southeastern CT chapter of SCORE has been ranked in the top 20 of more than 300 SCORE chapters in the country as determined by both the SCORE volunteer and client engagement survey results. Congratulations to Margo and her team."
