New London, CT – The nonprofit Veterans Equine Therapeutic Services is partnering with RD86 Space to pilot an educational program called the Cowboy Kitchen that trains local veterans interested in culinary arts.

Veterans will pair up with local chefs to execute five events this summer at the Horses Healing Humans Farm in North Stonington. Vets will learn a variety of skills allowing them to support this program, which brings exposure and additional funds to further the work of the nonprofit.

The first event in the series kicks off at RD86 Space, 86 Golden St., on May 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets for the entire series or individual events can be purchased online at bit.ly/30iSC7f.

The Cowboy Kitchen series will culminate in a gala event at Mike's Famous Harley-Davidson in New London in October.
