The concluding workshop in the Fundamentals of Starting or Growing a Business five-session series covers start-up and operating costs and essential financial planning and tools. Topics include estimating real costs (direct & indirect), accounting for overhead costs, why a financial plan is important and how to use it. Attend all five sessions (strongly recommended) or any individually.
The series, run by Anne Driscoll, Eric Munro and Arlene Saffron, is designed for individuals who are considering starting a business and for current business owners looking for insights and inspiration for growing their business. The workshops include in-class work on the most important aspects of building a business, as well as discussion and brainstorming. The series is free and includes class materials and light refreshments.
