The Arc Eastern Connecticut Receives Donation from AHEPA

The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (Order of AHEPA) presented Kathleen Stauffer, CEO of The Arc Eastern Connecticut, with a check from the AHEPA Foundation for $1,000 at the Norwich chapter’s annual meeting on June 9th.

AHEPA President George Grossomanides praised The Arc ECT and the important work it does on behalf of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in eastern Connecticut. “The AHEPA Foundation has been a longtime supporter of The Arc ECT,” noted Ms. Stauffer. “This gift is especially important now, as we realign our program strategies and acquire the equipment necessary to keep people healthy and safe during the pandemic. We couldn’t ask for a better community partner.”

AHEPA is the largest and oldest grassroots association of American citizens of Greek heritage, established to promote civil rights and combat discrimination. It has over 400 chapters across the United States, Canada, and Europe.
