The Arc New London County Receives Grant from the Town of Old Lyme

The Arc New London County received $750 from the Town of Old Lyme to support its Community Life & Advocacy program for 2017. CL&A provides recreation, socialization, self-advocacy and civic engagement programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and is the only program of its kind in the region.  It receives no state or federal funding and relies on municipal and foundation donations as well as United Way donations to provide its wide variety of services. The Town of Old Lyme has been a key supporter of the agency for many years, and several residents and their families currently take advantage of its programs.
