The Dolphin: 'Naval Branch Health Clinic Hospital Corpsman named Service Person of the Month''

The Dolphin reported on an outstanding member of their community recognized for his service by the Chamber and Rotary Club: 

"A selfless and motivated Sailor assigned to Naval Branch Health Clinic Groton onboard Naval Submarine Base (SUBASE) New London was awarded Service Person of the Month (SPOM), May 20.

Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Joshua Wilson received the SPOM award duirng a luncheon put on by the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut (the Chamber) and the Rotary Club.

'Petty Officer Wilson is a great guy," said Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Matt Delucia, Wilson’s leading petty officer. "He’s always dedicating himself to the community around him. He is always there to help out the community and the Sailors. He has more than 30 Sailors underneath him and he is leading the charge. He’s in the trenches, so to speak. He’s very reliable and definitely the go-to guy at Medical homeport.'"
