Union Baptist Church to Host Mystic CommUNITY Fair Sept 16

Mystic, CT – Union Baptist Church is pleased to announce that it is hosting its first annual CommUNITY Fair on Saturday, September 16, 2017, 12 to 4:00 p.m. at 119 High Street in Mystic. Admission is free and open to the public.

The first-ever CommUNITY Fair is designed to bring the Mystic residents and visitors together for a fun afternoon. This community-minded event joins other efforts from Union Baptist Church to share their faith and serve the world with love.

Highlights of the first annual CommUNITY Fair include:

  • Booths offering local artisan items and services
  • Opportunities to meet a selection of local authors
  • Representatives in attendance from Mystic-area non-profit organizations
  • “Touch a Truck” with the Mystic Fire Department
  • Family-friendly games and activities
  • Guided tours of the church with historic storytelling
  • Open House for Happy Time Nursery school and celebration of their 50th Anniversary
  • FREE snowcones and popcorn for children
  • Hamburgers, hot dogs, and other fair foods for purchase to benefit Groton Community Meals
  • A preview of the Connecticut Gilbert & Sullivan Company’s production of Princess Ida
  • Much more!
Union Baptist Church looks forward to welcoming the public September 16 on the High Street Hill.
