Volunteer Opportunities This Fall at High Hopes

Old Lyme, CT – Make a difference in the life of someone by volunteering at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding in Old Lyme CT.  This fall High Hopes has volunteer opportunities in sidewalking, leading, horse care, equine therapy programs, special events, office support and more. Experience is not required; training is provided.  The minimum age for volunteers is 14 years old. No horse experience is necessary. General New Volunteer Orientation is required before all other training. Volunteer training will take place on the following days:
 
General New Volunteer Orientation Training:
Tuesday, Aug 2nd:   5:30-7pm
Tuesday, Sept 6th:    5:30pm-7pm
 
Sidewalker: (Pre-Requisite: General New Volunteer Orientation)
Tuesday Aug 9th:       4pm-7pm
Tuesday Sept 13th:      4pm-7pm
Wednesday Sept 28th:  4pm-7pm
 
 Horse Handler Level 1: (Pre-Requisite: General New Volunteer Orientation)                    
Tuesday Aug 23rd:  4pm-7pm
 
Sidewalker/Horse Handler Combined: (Pre-Requisite: General New Volunteer Orientation)                    
Thursday Aug 11th   3:30pm-7pm
Tuesday Sept 20th     3:30pm-7pm
