Employer Roundtable: Childcare Challenges & Opportunities

Description

Childcare access and affordability are increasingly shaping employers’ ability to recruit, retain, and support a reliable and engaged workforce. The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT and The SECT Childcare Collective, an initiative of United Way of SECT, invite the region's employers to discuss how childcare challenges affect talent attraction, retention, attendance, productivity, and more. 

Participants will hear about emerging resources such as Connecticut's Tri-Share program, employee needs assessment, and regional efforts to expand childcare access, followed by a facilitated discussion to share experiences, identify common challenges, and explore practical solutions.

Light refreshments will be provided. ALL employers welcome, regardless of membership in the Chamber or Collective.

Who should attend: Business leaders, owners, HR, operations, benefits, and/or finance professionals, and any decision-makers interested in workforce stability and employee support!
