Volunteer Information Meeting Requirement *

To help volunteers feel prepared and informed, we strongly encourage all volunteers to attend one of the following virtual Volunteer Information Meetings prior to Celebrate New London. During the meeting, volunteers will receive information regarding event logistics, safety procedures, volunteer assignments, and day-of expectations, as well as have an opportunity to ask questions.

While attendance is not required, participation is greatly appreciated and will help ensure a smooth and successful experience for both volunteers and event attendees.

In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the City of New London, the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT, its officers, employees, agents, volunteers, event organizers, partners, sponsors, participating organizations, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the event, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I understand that I am responsible for my own health, safety, and personal property during the event and agree to comply with all event rules, instructions, and applicable laws.
