SCORE: Shifting from ‘Doer” to ‘Leader’ in Your Business
The Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE (sect.score.org), Mentors to America’s Small Businesses, presents a NEW free webinar, “Shifting from ‘Doer’ to ‘Leader’ in Your Business.”
As a business owner, your time is your most valuable asset, and you want to be sure you are using it wisely.
When you start running your business as opposed to working in it, your ability to accelerate its growth and success increases significantly. In this webinar, participants will learn how to shift themselves from ‘doer’ to ‘leader’ of their business, and why it is so critical for the success of their business to do so.
Topics include:
- What business owners and sole proprietors hesitate to stop ‘doing’ when running their business
- How to calculate the amount of time you are spending as a doer vs. a leader
- Why you can no longer ‘do it all’, and more
Participants will leave the workshop with proven action steps and tools to help them begin operating their business at a high level and keep them out of the weeds of the day-to-day tasks.
Workshop Presenter Richelle Jessey has a professional certification in Leadership Coaching from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), and is also a Certified Leadership Dynamics Specialist (CLDS). She helps small to mid-sized business owners escape the 24/7 workweek by increasing the confidence and capabilities of their leaders. Richelle has a career background in Human Resources and Training & Development, with a Masters Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven. She brings her knowledge of leadership and coaching to the SCORE network as a mentor.
