SCORE Southeastern Connecticut Presents: “Fundamentals of Starting or Growing Your Business, #2: Customer and Competition”
In Session Two of the Fundamentals of Starting or Growing a Business five-session series, you will explore who your customer is in more detail. We’ll discuss competition (direct and indirect), and we’ll use SWOT – Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats – to help you understand how to position your business and how to compensate for aspects of your business that are being developed. We will also help you look for trends that impact your market and product/service development.
The series, run by Arlene Saffron, Eric Munro and Anne Driscoll, is designed for individuals who are considering starting a business and for current business owners looking for insights and inspiration for growing their business. The workshops include in-class work on the most important aspects of building a business, as well as discussion and brainstorming. The series is free and includes class materials and light refreshments. It is strongly suggested, though not required, that participants attend all of the modules.
