Backus to Host Free Community Talk On Alzheimer's Disease

Norwich, CT – Backus Hospital will host a free community education event on Alzheimer’s disease on Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 6:30–8 p.m. in the main lobby conference rooms at Backus Hospital, 326 Washington Street, Norwich.
 
“Alzheimer’s Disease: A Conversation with Experts”, presented by Mahmoud Okasha, MD, who is board-certi­fied in Psychiatry and Neurology and Kristine Johnson of the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut, will include a discussion on Alzheimer’s warning signs, a new potential treatment in late-stage clinical development, and a question and answer session.
