BioCT Innovation Commons Call to Scientists Who are Artists, Artists Who Love Science

Artists who are interested in exhibiting at BioCT Innovation Commons (The Commons) located at 93 Shennecossett Road, Groton, CT 06340 for six months (January 24 – July 15) are invited to submit a photo of their artwork for review. 

The exhibit will be on January 24, 2019 from 5-7pm, all artists are welcome to attend the Innovator Networking Program and Wine Tasting during this time.

All 2-D art by scientists or art that is scientific in nature is acceptable for this show.  Works of drawings, paintings, and photography are encourage to apply.  Art should be framed and must have a wire affixed for hanging. 

If you are interested in exhibiting your art please email a photo, description, this form and dimensions of the piece(s) to kkelly@bioct.org by December 8th.  

Artists will be informed if they are selected to participate by December 20th.  Piece(s) will need to be delivered to The Commons by January 10, 2018.

Sales and Liability

• A 15% commission will be charged on all sales. 
• Works will be insured for the duration of the show while on The Commons premises. 
• BioCT and artists agree the total insured value for any one piece of art will be $500.  Payment to artist or owner will not exceed $500 if a loss occurs to any one piece of art.
