'Celebrating Lyme's Beauty: Paintings of the Hamburg Bridge District' Paint Out, Exhibition

Old Lyme, CT – The annual Celebrating Lyme's Beauty event, co-organized by the Lyme Art Association and the Lyme Land Conservation Trust, will showcase paintings of the Hamburg Bridge District on Joshuatown Road and Old Hamburg Road in Lyme.

This themed exhibition will be displayed in Lyme Art Association’s Goodman Gallery from July 22nd through August 26th.

A special Paint Out will be held on Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th from 9am – 5pm at the Hamburg Bridge District.  The Paint Out is free and open to anyone.  Artists unable to attend the Paint Out may visit the Hamburg Bridge District after the Paint Out to create work.

Jocelyn Zallinger, the Lyme Art Association’s Gallery Manager says, “This is a fantastic partnership between two local non-profit organizations, each with a connection to Lyme’s remarkable landscape. The Lyme Land Conservation Trust’s commitment to preserving Lyme’s open space makes the Paint Out in beautiful Hamburg possible, and the ability of the Lyme Art Association’s artists to capture the landscape’s natural beauty through plein air paintings will make this a spectacular exhibition.
