Chamber to Host DECD, CERC Leadership at Regional Economic Development Forum March 30

CT DECD, CERC to Outline Job Growth Plans in Groton
 
Eastern CT  – The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT will co-host a Regional Economic Development Forum with seCTer (Southeastern CT Enterprise Region) on March 30, 2016, 8:30 – 10 a.m. at Groton’s Municipal Building on Meridian Street. The forum will be open to the public with no cost for admission.
 
The Regional Economic Development Forum brings together Bart Kollen, Deputy Commissioner of the CT Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), and the CT Economic Resource Center (CERC) to outline plans in place to help attract and expand the business community in eastern CT.
 
Kollen and Tricia Paesani, DECD Business Development Manager, will discuss the State’s new initiatives to fuel job creation. Representatives from CERC will present an overview of resources available to boost economic growth. An open Q&A session will follow for guests to air questions and concerns to DECD and CERC representatives.
