Chelsea Groton Bank Presents Scholarships to 16 Rising College Students
 
Groton, CT – Chelsea Groton Bank recently presented scholarships to a select group of graduating seniors who represent 16 area high schools. Each of the individuals who applied for the scholarships excelled in academia, leadership and extracurricular activities during their high school years, and plans to pursue college degrees.
 
“At Chelsea Groton Bank, we strive each day to better the community. Part of our responsibility is to help educate the next generation of young adults so they can continue to improve our communities,” said Pam Days-Luketich, Community Education Officer for Chelsea Groton Bank said. “The scholarship recipients are an impressive group of students. We are confident they will do great things in their future, and wish them well as they pursue their college education.”
 
Recipients of the 16 $500 scholarships were: Yvonne Kensah of Academy of the Holy Family; Ravali  Yenduri of East Lyme High School; Alanna Tarabeck of Fitch High School; Andre Garner of Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School; Sydney Pepper of Griswold High School; Alyssa Donovan of Ledyard High School; Blake Smith of Lyman Memorial High School; Ryan Wrobel of Montville High School; Chloe Green of New London High School; Olivia Krauss of Norwich Free Academy; Gabrielle Laflesh of Norwich Technical High School; Timothy Bouchard of Saint Bernard High School; Margarete Calmar of Stonington High School; Catherine Hodgkinson of The Williams School; Willie Dong of Waterford High School; and Kevin Knowles of Wheeler High School.
