Chelsea Groton Bank to Host Small Business Expo on June 10

Groton, CT – On Friday, June 10, Chelsea Groton Bank will present a Small Business Expo at the Bank’s Norwichtown branch. Current and aspiring small business owners are invited to attend to meet with the Bank’s representatives in cash management, business banking, commercial lending and financial planning to learn how to manage business disbursements more efficiently, increase cash flow, finance working capital and equipment, plan for retirement, and more.

Representatives from TransFirst, a merchant service company that offers customized payment processing products and services, will be present to consult with attendees about strategic planning and other challenges small businesses face.

Cindy Harris, one of the event’s coordinators and Branch Manager of Chelsea Groton Bank in Norwichtown said, “Small business owners have to wear many hats – strategic planner, sales person, accountant, maintenance personnel, marketer, and more. We are excited to host this event and be able to provide financial advice and other resources to the hardworking current and prospective business owners in our community.”
