Chelsea Groton Employees Graduate from CT School of Finance and Management

Groton, CT – Jennifer DeLucia of Norwich, Program Manager at Chelsea Groton Financial Services and Kristen Scott of Pawcatuck, Branch Manager of Chelsea Groton Bank’s Center Groton branch, recently graduated from the Connecticut Bankers Association’s Connecticut School of Finance and Management (CSFM).

“At Chelsea Groton, we believe that the better trained and more knowledgeable our employees are, the better the customer experience will be,” said Denise Stapienski, Assistant Vice President and Training Manager. “For this reason, we strongly encourage employees to continually learn and the CSFM program has proved to be a comprehensive and beneficial learning experience. We are very proud of Jennifer and Kristen for their accomplishments.”

The primary purpose of CSFM is to provide an opportunity for key employees of Connecticut’s banking industry to obtain a more broad knowledge and awareness of banking theory, practices and procedures, capital markets and management functions which will be of substantial value in their preparation for new and greater responsibilities at or within the management level.

The two-year program is designed to increase the knowledge of students in their own specialties and at the same time introduce them to a wide range of banking topics. The program helps students develop a broader perspective of the industry, a more enlightened view of their own bank and most importantly, a better awareness of their individual capacities.
