ConnectiCare Encourages Students during Bike to School Initiative

Last week, students from West Woods Upper Elementary School and Bike Friendly Farmington celebrated Bike to School Day with a ride along the Farmington Trail.
 
Since ConnectiCare’s headquarters are located on the bike route, the health insurer sent a group of employees to cheer on the students and their own Neil Kelsey, Vice President and Chief Actuary for ConnectiCare, who is involved with Bike Friendly Farmington and joined the students for the ride.
 
The goal of the event is to promote physical activity, help children develop safe biking skills, build community connections, and help schools identify improvements needed for safer walking and biking.
