CorePlus to Host Home Buying Seminar June 2

Is 2016 going to be the year that you buy a home? Do you have questions about mortgage financing options, applications, approvals, appraisals, assessments, and inspections?  
 
CorePlus Federal Credit Union will host a Home Buyer Seminar on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 5.30pm – 7.00pm.  The seminar will be held at CorePlus’ Plainfield branch location at 67 Lathrop Road.  Light refreshments will be served.
 
Led by Mortgage Team Leader Barbara Zendzion, the seminar will feature a presentation of ‘Home Buyer’ basics for first time home buyers, people interested in downsizing or expanding due to a changing family situation, or vacation home purchasers.
 
Topics to be covered are: 

  • Who’s who in the buying process?
  • Affordability and down payment strategies
  • Mortgage pre-qualification and pre-approvals
  • Financing programs and options
  • Benefits of home ownership
