Dime Bank Welcomes New Board Member and Corporater at 149th Annual Meeting

Norwich, CT Dime Bank recently hosted its 149th annual meeting at Lake of Isles in North Stonington, Conn. In his State of the Bank Presentation, President and CEO Nick Caplanson highlighted another year of strong financial performance, led by the continued value Dime provides to its business customers as the region’s leading local commercial lender.

At the meeting, one new Director was voted to the Dime Board and a new Corporator was elected as well.

Peter Wm. Maneri was voted on to the Dime Bank Board of Directors. Peter is the owner of Peter Wm. Maneri, Jr., CPA Accounting Services in Norwich, which was established in 1993. Under his leadership, the firm has evolved from being a solely owned and operated business to a company employing CPAs and other additional full-time staff members. 

In addition, Sarah E. Harris was elected as a Corporator at Dime. Sarah is currently serving her first term as a Councilor on the Mohegan Tribe Council. Previously, she was an attorney in private practice, representing Native American tribes, tribal entities and tribal organizations before federal agencies and in federal court. In 2012, Sarah was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve as Chief of Staff to the Assistant Secretary of Indian Affairs.
