Eastern CT Symphony Chorus Announces Audition on Feb 7

The Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus (ECSC) is currently seeking singers! Auditions will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

The ECSC offers singers a unique opportunity to join a musical enterprise of symphonic proportion in Southeastern Connecticut. Individuals selected for a position in the chorus will have the fortune of performing Candide, which is an operetta with music composed by Leonard Bernstein, at the Garde Arts Center on April 28, 2018, with the Eastern CT Symphony Orchestra.

Auditions are by appointment only and will begin at 7:00 pm. Participants are expected to prepare two songs of symphonic, hymns or church music; those auditioning will also be asked to vocalize and sight read. Participants should bring the piano accompaniment scores of their chosen songs to the audition; an accompanist will be provided.
