Connecticut Kids and Students 18 and under visit for FREE this Summer!
Through September 6, Connecticut children age 18 and under plus one accompanying Connecticut adult resident can visit participating museums free of charge through the Connecticut Summer at the Museum program.
At the Florence Griswold Museum there is no need to register in advance,
just check in at Admissions and ENJOY!
The program is part of Governor Lamont’s larger plan to use recovery funds to provide students and families with engaging summer enrichment and learning experiences
in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yoga at the Muesum
Sundays through August 8 from 11am to 12:30pm
Our popular summer yoga series with Sara Jascot, Certified Yoga Instructor returns! This outdoor summer series is designed for all levels of yoga and will focus on celebrating and exploring art and beauty of mind-body connection.
Please bring mat, towel, water and any yoga equipment you use (block, blanket, strap).
Creativity for All Ages!
Art Camp On-Demand
This summer, the Museum is transforming its traditional onsite art camp into ten on-demand creative art experiences with Miss Julie. Participants receive a treasure box filled with an art camp tee shirt, sketch book, and ten custom art kits.
Campers have unlimited access to ten 30-minute online art lessons with Miss Julie where she explains and demonstrates each of the art activities included. Art kits contain all materials and tools required.
