Forever In My Heart Foundation Charity Gala on September 28
An award-winning entertainment will open the 3rd Annual Forever In My Heart Foundation Charity Gala followed by a sit down dinner, live music, silent and live auctions. All of this will be a part of amazing lifesaving evening while raising money to save lives of shelter dogs and improve lives of CT Disabled Veterans.
This special event will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at the Grand Pequot Ballroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino. VIP and Meet & Greet hour will start at 5:00 p.m.
We are honored to present Heidi Voight from NBC CT as our Master of Ceremonies.
Our host and speaker this year is Montel Williams. Mr. Williams earned his media celebrity status as an inspirational Emmy Award winning television personality whom Americans invited into their homes for more than 17 years. He is a decorated former naval officer, inspirational speaker, author, entrepreneur and advocate for patients worldwide.
We are also honored to have Barbara J. Gitlitz, M.D. as our special guest. Barbara J. Gitlitz, M.D. is a life-long animal lover and is passionate about advocating for both people and animals. She has traveled to China with AHWF to provide medical care on rescue missions and to help with China shelter operations. She is passionate about bringing awareness and an end to the Asian dog and cat meat trade.
Colonel Robert Carter the Command Chaplin at West Point will start the main event along with Foxwood’s Tribal Color Guard, Eastern Pequot Mohegan Tribe, and Mashantucket Pequot veterans.
Regular admission tickets are $100 per person. We are also offering VIP tickets with meet & greet at $150 per person which include VIP cocktail reception starting at 5 p.m.
