Kid's Week Returns to Foxwoods Resort Casino This April

Spend Spring Break With Activities for Families and Kids of All Ages  
 
MASHANTUCKET, CT – From Monday, April 10 through Wednesday, April 12, and Monday, April 17 through Wednesday, April 19, Foxwoods® Resort Casino’s Kid’s Week will once again offer a wide range of fun activities during the school vacation for children of all ages. From 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, enjoy FREE blockbuster movies, face painting, arts & crafts and balloon animals. 
 
Blockbuster Movies
The Grand Theater will show some of this year’s most popular movies throughout the week.  Kid’s Week movie viewings will include Star Wars Rogue One, Moana, Suicide Squad, Storks, Sing and Zootopia.  Movie will be shown between 12:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and 12:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.
 
Daily Games and Activities
The 25^th Anniversary Celebration Zone, located near Cedars Restaurant, will offer a host of activities for kids to enjoy throughout the week including classic games like Oversized Jenga, Tic Tac Toe, Connect 4, Foosball and more!  The Celebration Zone will also be home to Xbox and Playstation Games, as well as various arts & crafts and face painting.
 
Food Specials
Dining outlets throughout the property will offer food specials for guests 12 & under.  For kids who like a range of options, Festival Buffet will provide the perfect offering.  Additionally, Fuddruckers will provide meals for only $7.25, such as chicken fingers, hot dogs, cheeseburgers or grilled cheese, all with a side of fries and a drink.  Other participating dining outlets include Gelato, Pequot Bay, Ben & Jerry’s, Regina Pizzeria, Subway and Veranda Café. 
 
Special Tanger Outlets Events
From baby animals to balloon animals and super heroes to science stations, there is something for everyone at the Tanger Outlets during Kid’s Week.  Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods will feature strolling super heroes, costume contests, balloon artists, live music and plenty of photo opportunities.  A Baby Animal Petting Zoo will be available on Monday, April 17, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and The Connecticut Science Center will host activity stations at the Fox Tower and Grand Pequot Tower entrances from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19.  The family-favorite scavenger hunt will return on Tuesday, April 11 and April 18 where kids can get their passport stamped at each of the participating locations.  Upon filling their passport, each participant will receive a Kid’s Week Goodie Bag at the Tanger Shopper Services Desk!
 
Kid Friendly Decorating with CAKE by Franck
On April 12 and 19, kids can stop by the Celebration Zone and become a “mini”-baker, just like Chef Franck!  Every half hour, 10 kids can put on their chef hat and learn fun tricks and tips to decorate their very own Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes! The event will run from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the Fox Theater Box Office.
 
Cirque Éloize Cirkopolis Behind the Scenes Family Experience
The cast of Cirque Éloize Cirkopolis is treating families to a unique and interactive experience before their seven-show run at Foxwoods.  Families can enter the enchanting world of contortionists, jugglers and aerial acrobats as the cast prepares for show time! Lucky kids and parents will be invited on stage to participate in some of the crowd-favorite tricks from the show.  The cast of clowns and artists will greet guests and take photos throw out the show.  This amazing “Behind the Scenes Family Experience” will on Tuesday, April 11 at 12:15 p.m. at Fox Theater.  Tickets are required in advance and may be purchased in advance at https://www.foxwoods.com/CirqueEloize/
 
Tree House Arcade Specials
Tree House Arcade is offering specials on kid-friendly gaming throughout the week.  The “Family Special” is $100 which will provide four kids $25.00 in game credits plus $6.00 in bonus credits and 250 tickets. The “Daily Special” is $35.00 for a single fun pass which includes $35.00 in game credits plus $6.00 bonus credits and 500 tickets.  The “Kid’s Week Special” is $20.00 for a single fun pass and includes $20.00 in game credits plus $2.00 bonus credits and 250 tickets.
